We're Becca and Nick Van Liere, the partnership behind this community rooted, family-owned space called Fika. 

For a long time, we've dreamed of creating a welcoming spot where everyone, regardless of background or dietary need, could enjoy food that’s nourishing and delicious.

Our commitment to plant based and gluten free offerings comes from a place of care for people, animals, and the planet. What started as a scrappy, grassroots effort (with zero investors and plenty of elbow grease) has grown into something special, thanks to the support of our community.

This isn’t our first gig in the Grand Rapids food scene; we're also the owners of Rise Authentic Baking Co, a lil bakery across town known for its allergy friendly treats and welcoming vibes.

We hope to serve you soon, Grand Rapids!
